Donations for COVID-19 Fund
After meeting with a philanthropic advisory group, HDR Global Trading decided to donate the money to Gates Philanthropy Partners’ COVID-19 fund. On the one hand, these are the biosecurity program of the Nuclear Threat Initiative OpenMined and Our World in Data. The organizations focus on policy analysis and capacity building projects. The goal is to reduce biological risks, vaccine development, diagnostics and treatment, data research and open source support for data protection technologies.HDR Global Trading emphasized that all contributions to the COVID-19 fund are independent of the personal philanthropic initiatives of co-founder Ben Delo, one of the signatories to the Giving Pledge.
